Appeal to close in mid-April
After a record breaking appeal and with the bushfires in Victoria now thankfully under control, Red Cross would like to thank the hundreds of thousands of people, as well as governments and corporate Australia who have contributed to the biggest fundraising appeal of its kind in Australia. Recognising that there are still a number of events are still to be held, we have decided to close the appeal on Friday 17th April 2009.
